Room History

This page describes the Room History report in the Hotel module.

The Room History report is a list of Reservations made for specified Rooms over a specified period. A Reservation will be included in the report if it has a Normal (not checked in) or Normal (checked in) Status. If you are using the Include Unconfirmed in Availability option in the Hotel Settings setting, it will also be included if it is an Unconfirmed Reservation.

The report will list the specified Rooms, showing the Reservations for each one from the specified Period in Check In Date order. For each Reservation, the Customer, Check In and Check Out Dates and Total will be shown, and the Guests will be listed.

When printed to screen, the Room History report has the Standard ERP drill-down feature. Click (Windows/macOS) or tap (iOS/Android) on any Room, Reservation or Guest Number in the report to open the corresponding Room or Reservation record or the Contact record for the selected Guest.

Period
Paste Special    Reporting Periods setting, System module
Specify the report period here. Reservations with Check In Dates within this period will be included in the report.

Room
Paste Special    Room register, Hotel module
Range Reporting    Alpha
If you need to produce a report for a particular Room, enter its Room Number here. You can also enter a range of Room Numbers, separated by a colon (:).

Room Name
You can also produce a report for a particular Room by entering its Name here. You can also enter a partial name, such as "3" or "Room 3" to produce a report listing Rooms on the third floor.

Always print all Rooms
By default, a Room will only be included in the report if it has been used in at least one Reservation during the report period. Select this option if you would like Rooms that have not been used to be included as well.
