Occupancy Report

This page describes the Occupancy Report report in the Hotel module.

The Occupancy Report provides monthly Room occupancy statistics for each Room Type. Use the >Room Statistics report if you need daily statistics.

Period
Paste Special    Reporting Periods setting, System module
The report will provide Room occupancy statistics for each month in the period that you specify here. Note that the period must end on the last day of a month otherwise that month will not be included in the report. Months with no Reservations will also not be included in the report.

Room Type
Paste Special    Room Types setting, Hotel module
Range Reporting    Alpha
If you need to see Room occupancy statistics for the Rooms belonging to a particular Room Type, specify that Room Type here. You can also enter a range of Room Types separated by a colon (:). By default the report will include every Room Type in the Room Types setting. You must specify at least one Room Type otherwise the report will be empty. If there are no Reservations for Rooms belonging to a particular Room Type in a month, that Room Type will not be shown for that month.

The report will display Room occupancy statistics for each Room Type for each month in the report period. These statistics are:
Days Avail.
The total number of Rooms belonging to the Room Type multiplied by the number of days in the month.

Used
The number of Reservations with a Normal (not checked in) or Normal (checked in) Reservation Status. If you are using the Include Unconfirmed in Availability option in the Hotel Settings setting, Reservations that have an Unconfirmed Status will be included as well. Reservations without Room Numbers will be included.

Occupancy %
The Percentage of occupied Rooms (Used / Days Avail. * 100).

Guests
The number of Adults in the Reservations in the Used figure.

Tot. Room Rate
The sum of the Total Stay figures in the Reservations in the Used figure.

Avg
The average value per Room of the Reservations in the Used figure (Tot. Room Rate / Used * 100).
