Attachments

Files, notes and other FirstOffice records (including other Mails) can be attached to a Mail using the [Attachments] button with the paper clip icon. This can take one of two forms:

These connected objects are known as "Attachments" and this feature is universal in FirstOffice. Please click here for full details. Remember that a folder or directory named "Attach" must be present in the FirstOffice server folder if you want to use Attachments, and that a folder named "Tmp" should also be present on the Gateway machine if you will be sending or receiving external mail with Attachments. You must save a Mail at least once before you can add any Attachments to it.

Mails with Attachments have an extra icon in the Mailbox and Conference browse windows:
