This page describes the 'Request Approval' function on the Operations menu in the Stock Depreciation record window. If you are using iOS or Android, the 'Request Approval' function is on the Tools menu (with 'wrench' icon).

If a Stock Depreciation record has to pass through an approval process before you can mark it as OK, use this function to begin that approval process. Please refer to the description of the Approval Status field in the header of the Stock Depreciation window for brief details about the approval process and here for full details.
