Operations Menu - Form Template - PC Printer

This page describes the 'PC Printer' function on the Operations menu in the Form Template record window.

If you will print a Form Template using a dot matrix printer, use the 'PC Printer' function on the Operations menu dialogue box to define the page size for that Form Template.

A dot matrix printer needs certain settings for printing on continuous stationery. If you are printing a document to pre-printed forms, you may need to define the number of rows in the page, the number of visible rows and the left margin for the forms used. In the Codepage field, enter the code page that is used by the printer. If characters are printed incorrectly in a document, the probable reason is that the Codepage field is empty or contains the wrong code page.

Press the [OK] button to assign the changes to the Form Template. Note that the changes won't be saved permanently until you save the Form Template itself.
