Jewellery Workflow - Purchasing

In a high-value retail environment such a jewellery store it is fairly normal to buy pieces on consignment. When you buy a piece on consignment, it will remain the property of the Supplier until you sell it. The Supplier will not issue a Purchase Invoice until you sell the piece. The piece will therefore never belong to you: it will remain the property of the Supplier until you sell it.
