Operations Menu - Work Order - Open Service Order

This page describes the 'Open Service Order' function on the Operations menu in the Work Order record window. If you are using iOS or Android, the 'Open Service Order' function is on the Tools menu (with 'wrench' icon).

When viewing a Work Order, you can use the 'Open Service Order' function if you need to look at the originating Service Order. When you select the function from the Operations menu (Windows/macOS) or Tools menu (iOS/Android): the Service Order will be opened in a new window.

As a Work Order and its originating Service Order will be connected through the Link Manager facility, you can also open the Service Order from the Link Manager in the Work Order.
