Delivery Terms

In this setting you can enter the different shipping terms you wish to use, such as FOB (Free On Board) and CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight). Usually these will be used for international Customers: you can assign a Delivery Term to a Customer on the 'Delivery' card of their Contact record.

Use the [Module] button in the Master Control panel to ensure you are in the Contact module and then click the [Settings] button, also in the Master Control panel (or use the Ctrl-S/⌘-S keyboard shortcut). Double-click 'Delivery Terms' in the resulting list. The 'Delivery Terms: Browse' window opens, listing the available Delivery Terms: double-click to modify or click [New] to create a new item.

Enter a code and a short descriptive text for each Delivery Term. The code can contain up to five characters, and you may freely mix letters and numbers.

Confirm the entry by clicking [Save].
