In some countries, it is a legal requirement that all Invoices be given an Official Invoice Number. These can be supplied pre-printed on Invoice stationery. Each company that issues Invoices is assigned a number sequence to be used for this purpose. That number sequence should be specified here.

Whenever an Invoice is entered, the next number from this sequence will be placed in the Official Serial Number field on the 'Terms' card.
