Introduction to Maintenance in the E-mail and Conferences Module

Maintenance functions allow you to carry out certain updating tasks, usually involving batch processing and encompassing all or many of the records in the affected register. Maintenance functions connected with Hansa's Mail facilities are located in the E-mail and Conferences module. Use the [Select Module] button in the Master Control panel (or the Ctrl-0 or ⌘-0 keyboard shortcuts) to ensure you are in the E-mail and Conferences module and then select 'Maintenance' from the File menu. When the 'Maintenance' list appears, double-click an item in the list. A specification window will then appear, where you can decide how the function is to operate. Click [Run] to operate the function.
