Introduction to the Data Integrity Module

The Data Integrity module contains a number of reports that will help track down the cause of any mismatch between the Nominal Ledger and a Sub System.

To gain access to the Data Integrity module, follow these steps:

1. Ensure the Data Integrity option on the 'Technical' card of the Configuration setting in the System module is selected:
   

   

2. Assign each Person or Global User who is to use the Data Integrity module to an Access Group in which you have granted full access to this module:
   

   

   If 'Data Integrity' is not available in the list that appears when you try to change module, the probable reason is that you have logged on as a Person or Global User that does not have access privileges for this module.

The Data Integrity module includes the following reports:

• Access Control (lists Global Users and Persons, showing the Companies that each user has access to, together with the level of access)
  

• N/L Correction List (also in the Nominal Ledger)
  

• N/L Correction List, Consolidated (also in the Consolidation module)
  

• Purchase Ledger Checking (compares the Purchase Ledger report with the balance on the Creditor Account)
  

• Purchase Ledger Roll Forward (lists transactions from a particular date that post to the Creditor Account)
  

• Sales Ledger Checking (compares the Sales Ledger report with the balance on the Debtor Account)
  

• Sales Ledger Roll Forward (lists transactions from a particular date that post to the Debtor Account)
  

• Subsystems Checking (also in the System module)
  

• Transaction Checking (also in the System module)
