Interest Cost Calculation
The Interest Cost Calculation report is a list of outstanding Purchase Invoices and Purchase Invoices that were paid after they became due. For each Invoice, it displays the interest costs that are payable. Interest is calculated per day on each Purchase Invoice from its Due Date to the current date (or to the date of payment if the Invoice has been paid).

Reporting Periods setting, System module
- Enter the report period. The first row of the Reporting Periods setting is used as default. The report will display Purchase Invoices whose Transaction Dates fall in this period that are overdue or that were paid after their Due Dates.

- Enter an internal Purchase Invoice Number or a range of Numbers separated by a colon (:) here if you would like specific Purchase Invoices to be shown in the report.
- Purchase Invoices in the range that have not been marked as OK or that have been invalidated will not be included in the report. Credit Notes will also not be included.

- Enter a Supplier Number here if you would like the report to list outstanding Purchase Invoices received from a particular Supplier. You can also enter a range of Supplier Numbers separated by a colon (:).

- If you would like the report to list outstanding Purchase Invoices received from Suppliers belonging to a particular Supplier Category, specify that Category here.

Contact Classifications setting, CRM module
- Enter a Classification Code in this field if you want to list outstanding Purchase Invoices received from Suppliers with a certain Classification. If you enter a number of Classifications separated by commas, outstanding Purchase Invoices received from Suppliers with all the Classifications listed will be shown in the report.
- Interest Rate
- Specify the annual interest rate that is to be applied to each Invoice.
- Reminder Fee
- Specify here any additional cost that you will be charged for each Invoice. The Fee will be applied once to each Invoice.
- Fully Paid only
- Select this option if you only need Purchase Invoices that have been fully paid to be shown in the report. The report will only include Invoices that were paid after their Due Dates (i.e. Invoices on which some interest is payable).
- Skip on Hold
- Select this option if you do not want Purchase Invoices that have been marked as On Hold to be included in the report.
The report will list outstanding Purchase Invoices, showing for each one the Purchase Invoice Number, the Invoice value, the outstanding value, the number of days since the Due Date, the interest rate and the interest that is payable. If a Purchase Invoice has been paid (or partially paid), the payment will also be shown in the report. For each Payment, the Payment Number, the Payment Date, the Due Date, the number of days between the Due Date and the Payment Date, the Payment value, the interest rate and the interest that is payable will be shown. Payments made before the Due Date will not be shown in the report.
When printed to screen, the Interest Cost Calculation report has the Standard ERP Drill-down feature. Click (Windows/Mac OS X) or tap (iOS/Android) on any Purchase Invoice Number to open an individual Purchase Invoice record, and on any Payment Number to open an individual Payment record.
