Introduction to Activity, Calendar and Task Manager Maintenance Functions

Maintenance functions allow you to carry out certain updating tasks, usually involving batch processing and encompassing all or many of the records in the affected register. There are two such functions connected with Activities, the Calendar and the Task Manager, which you can find in the Contact module. To use them, ensure you are in the Contact module and click the [Routines] button in the Master Control panel. Then click the [Maintenance] button in the subsequent window. The following window appears:

Double-click the item in the list that you need. A specification window will then appear, where you can decide how the function is to operate. Click [Run] to operate the function.
