Operations Menu - Split Project Transaction

You can use this function to divide a Project Transaction into two.

Open the Project Transaction that is to be divided and select this function from the Operations menu. The following window appears:

Use the single field to specify how the Project Transaction is to be divided. For example, if you want the Project Transaction to be reduced to 1/5 of its original value with the remaining 4/5 transferred to a new record, enter "5". If you want the Project Transaction to be reduced to 1/4 of its original value, enter "4", and so on. When you click the [Run] button, the Registered and Invoiceable Quantities will be reduced to the specified fraction of the original figure. You will need to close and re-open the Project Transaction to see the change. The remaining quantity will be transferred to a new Project Transaction, created for the purpose.

The Project Transaction must be saved before you can use this function. Project Transactions that have already been invoiced cannot be divided.
