This function creates a new record by duplicating an existing one. The duplicate is opened in a window marked 'New'. In many cases, dates in the new record will be changed to show the current date.

You can duplicate a record either from a record window containing the record to be duplicated, or from the browse window in which you have highlighted the record to be duplicated with the mouse.
