Border Check Points

This page describes the Border Check Points setting in the Hotel module.

---

A Border Check Point is the check point that a visitor from abroad passed through when arriving in the country. You can record a Border Check Point in each Reservation, and doing so is mandatory in Croatia (i.e. if the VAT Law in the Company Info setting is "Croatian"). Use the Border Check Points setting to construct a look-up table to be used when recording this information.

To open the Border Check Points setting, first ensure you are in the Hotel module. Then, if you are using Windows or macOS, click the [Settings] button in the Navigation Centre or use the Ctrl-S/⌘-S keyboard shortcuts and then double-click 'Border Check Points' in the 'Settings' list. If you are using iOS or Android, select 'Settings' from the Tools menu (with 'wrench' icon) and tap 'Border Check Points' in the 'Settings' list. The 'Border Check Points: Browse' window will open, listing the Border Check Points that you have previously entered.

To enter a new Border Check Point, select 'New' from the Create menu (Windows/macOS) or the + menu (iOS/Android). You can also use the Ctrl-N/⌘-N keyboard shortcuts The 'Border Check Point: New' window appears: enter a Code and Name as appropriate and click [Save] (Windows/macOS) or tap √ (iOS/Android) to save the new record.
