Introduction to Items and the Production Module

When entering assembled Items, a distinction should be made between Items which are assembled at the moment of delivery and those which are assembled in advance of delivery and held in stock. This distinction is made using the Item Type options on the 'Pricing' card. In both cases, the assembly process (the components used, and the quantities required) is governed by a Recipe.
