Sales (recorded in the POS Invoice register) do not update stock or the Nominal Ledger in real time, making the saving of Invoices much faster. This is desirable in a retail environment where the closing of an Invoice must be followed by the opening of a new one as quickly as possible. You can update stock and the Nominal Ledger periodically (e.g. at the end of every day) using the relevant Maintenance functions. POS Invoices are included in sales statistics reports such as the Customer/Item Statistics, Item Sales Statistics, Item Statistics and Item Turnover History.POS Invoices can be entered using desktop computers and also using suitable tills and cash machines. These can be connected to external devices such as printers, touch-screen monitors, customer displays and cash drawers The tills can be connected to the server using one of two connection methods:
