Operations Menu - Request Approval

If a Leave Application has to pass through an approval process before you can mark it as OK (and before you can create Activities from it), use this function to begin that approval process. Please refer to the description of the Approval Status field in the Leave Application window here for brief details about the approval process and here for full details.
