Text Types

When you enter Activities, you can record notes and comments in the grid on the 'Text' card. If you define various standard texts in this setting, you can access them from the grid in the Activity record using 'Paste Special', reducing the typing load.

Use the [Module] button in the Master Control panel to ensure you are in the Contact module and then click the [Settings] button, also in the Master Control panel. Double-click 'Text Types' in the resulting list.

The 'Text Types: Browse' window opens, listing the available Text Types: to enter a new item, click the [New] button in the Button Bar. The 'Text Type: New' window appears: enter the details as appropriate and click [Save] to save the new record.
