Operations Menu - Stock Movement - Cost Price in Old Unit Price

This page describes the 'Cost Price in Old Unit Price' function on the Operations menu in the Stock Movement record window. If you are using iOS or Android, the 'Cost Price in Old Unit Price' function is on the Tools menu (with 'wrench' icon).

---

If you change the Item Number or specify a Sent or Received Quantity in a Stock Movement row, the Old and New Unit Prices will usually not be updated until you save the record. If you need to update these figures immediately using the relevant Cost Model and taking any Extra Cost into account, select this 'Cost Price in Old Unit Price' function from the Operations menu (Windows/macOS) or Tools menu (iOS/Android). If there is a Sent Quantity, this function will update the S. Old and New Unit Prices on flip B. If there is a Received Quantity, this function will update the R. Old and New Unit Prices on flip A. The S. Old and New Unit Prices will always be updated when you save the Stock Movement providing there is a Sent Quantity, up to and including the time when you mark the Stock Movement as Sent. Similarly, the R. Old and New Unit Prices will always be updated when you save, providing there is a Received Quantity (and, if there is a Via Location, if there is stock of the Item in that Location), until you mark the Stock Movement as Received.
