Items and Pictures - File Formats of Item Pictures

This page lists the allowable file formats of the image files that you can attach to Item records.

Depending on the task, the following file formats are supported for Item pictures:

Display in Item record

JPG. The maximum file size is 1 Mb, but ideally you should use much smaller files. Images from larger files will not be displayed.

Paste Special Coverflow

JPG. The maximum file size is 1 Mb, but ideally you should use much smaller files. Images from larger files will not be displayed.

Print in Forms (Media = Printer)

8-Bit BMP, 24-Bit BMP, JPG, PNG

Print in Forms (Media = PDF)

24-Bit BMP, JPG, PNG
