Operations Menu - Delivery - Recalculate Weight

This page describes the 'Recalculate Weight' function on the Operations menu in the Delivery record window. If you are using iOS or Android, the 'Recalculate Weight' function is on the Tools menu (with 'wrench' icon).

When you create a Delivery from a Sales Order, the total Weight and Volume of the Items in the Delivery will be shown on the 'Del. Terms' card. These figures will be calculated from the Del. Qty in each row and from the dimension information in the Item records. Whenever you change the Del. Qty in a row, the total Weight and Volume figures will be recalculated. If you change the Weight or Volume in an Item record or if these figures become inaccurate for any other reason, you can have them recalculated by selecting 'Recalculate Weight' from the Operations menu (Windows/macOS) or Tools menu (iOS/Android. There is no need to save the Delivery before using this function.
