Row Menu - Goods Receipt - Open Batch Specification

This page describes the 'Open Batch Specification' function on the Row menu in the Goods Receipt record window. If you are using iOS or Android, the 'Open Batch Specification' function is on the Tools menu (with 'wrench' icon).

When you mark a Goods Receipt as OK and save, separate records will be created in the Batch Specifications setting for each row in the Goods Receipt that contains an Item with a Serial Number and Best Before date. The 'Open Batch Specification' function allows you to view one of those Batch Specification records from the Goods Receipt.

First, place the insertion point in a Goods Receipt row that has a Serial Number and Best Before date. Then, open the Row menu by right-clicking (Windows) or ctrl-clicking (macOS) the row number. When the Row menu opens, select 'Open Batch Specification'. If you are using iOS or Android, select 'Open Batch Specification' from the Tools menu (with 'wrench' icon). The Batch Specification record will be opened in a new window.
