Delivery Journal
This page describes the Delivery Journal report in the Stock module.

The Delivery Journal is a list of Deliveries from the Delivery register.
When printed to screen, the Delivery Journal has the Standard ERP Drill-down feature. Click (Windows/macOS) or tap (iOS/Android) on any Delivery Number in the report to open the corresponding Delivery record.
- Period

Reporting Periods setting, System module
- Enter the start and end date of the report period. The report will list Deliveries with Dates that fall within the period specified here. The first record in the Reporting Periods setting will be used as the default.

- Enter a Delivery Number or a range of Numbers separated by a colon (:) here if you would like specific Deliveries to be listed in the report.

- If you would like the report to list Deliveries made to a particular Customer, enter the Contact Number of that Customer here. You can also enter a range of Contact Numbers.

- If you need the report to list Deliveries created from a particular range of Orders, enter their Order Numbers here. Use a colon (:) to separate the first and last numbers.

- Specify a Delivery Mode here if you would like the report to list Deliveries with a particular Delivery Mode.
- Location

- If you need the report to list Deliveries issued from a single Location, specify that Location here. This refers to the Location entered at Delivery level, not to any that you may have entered in Delivery rows.
- Location Group

- If you need the report to list Deliveries issued from Locations belonging to a particular Location Group, specify that Location Group here. This refers to the Location entered at Delivery level, not to any that you may have entered in Delivery rows.
- Location Classification

Location Classifications setting, Stock module
- Enter a Location Classification here if you need to restrict the report to Deliveries issued from Locations with that Location Classification. If you enter a number of Classifications separated by commas, the report will only include Deliveries issued from Locations featuring all the Classifications that you have listed. If you enter a number of Classifications separated by plus signs (+), Deliveries issued from Locations featuring at least one of the Classifications listed will be included in the report. If you enter a Classification preceded by an exclamation mark (!), the report will include Deliveries issued from Locations featuring any Classification except the one listed.

- Includes Deliveries issued from Locations with Classifications 1 and 2 (including Locations with Classifications 1, 2 and 3).
- 1+2
- Includes Deliveries issued from Locations with Classifications 1 or 2.
- !2
- Includes Deliveries issued from Locations without Classification 2.
- 1,!2
- Includes Deliveries issued from Locations with Classification 1 but without Classification 2. Note the comma before the exclamation mark in this example.
- !1,!2
- Includes Deliveries issued from Locations without Classification 1 or 2 or both. Again, note the comma.
- !(1,2)
- Includes Deliveries issued from Locations without Classifications 1 and 2 (Locations with Classifications 1, 2 and 3 will not be included).
- !1+2
- Includes Deliveries issued from Locations without Classification 1 and those with Classification 2 (Locations with Classifications 1 and 2 will be included).
- (1,2)+(3,4)
- Includes Deliveries issued from Locations with Classifications 1 and 2 and those with Classifications 3 and 4.
- 1*
- Includes Deliveries issued from Locations with a Classification beginning with 1 (e.g. 1, 10, 100).
- 1*,!1
- Includes Deliveries issued from Locations with a Classification beginning with 1 but not 1 itself.
- *1
- Includes Deliveries issued from Locations with a Classification ending with 1 (e.g. 1, 01, 001).
- 1*,*1
- Includes Deliveries issued from Locations with a Classification that begins and ends with 1 (e.g. 11, 101, 1001).
- This refers to the Location entered at Delivery level, not to any that you may have entered in Delivery rows.

- Use this field if you want to list the Deliveries that include a particular Item, or any Item from a range.
- If you produce the report using the Overview option, specifying an Item will have no effect on the report. If you use the Detailed option, only the rows with the specified Item will be listed.
- Item Group

- Use this field if you want to list the Deliveries that include at least one Item belonging to a particular Item Group.
- If you produce the report using the Overview option, specifying an Item Group will have no effect on the report. If you use the Detailed option, only the rows with Items belonging to the specified Item Group will be listed.
- Item Classification

- Use this field if you want to list the Deliveries that include at least one Item with a particular Item Classification. You can also construct a complex search string using the +, ! and * characters as described under Location Classification above.
- If you produce the report using the Overview option, specifying an Item Classification will have no effect on the report. If you use the Detailed the rows with Items with the specified Item Classification(s) will be listed.
- Order Class

Order Classes setting, Sales Orders module
- If you need the report to list Deliveries with a particular Order Class, specify that Order Class here.
- Salesman

Person register, System module and Global User register, Technics module
- To list Deliveries created by a particular user, enter their Signature here.
- If you are using the Limited Access feature and the user producing the report is only able to see their own records, their Signature will appear here by default and can't be changed. Please refer to the description of the 'Access' card of the Person register for full details about the Limited Access feature.
- Sales Group

Sales Groups setting, System module
- To list Deliveries created by users belonging to a particular Sales Group, enter that Sales Group here.
- If you are using the Limited Access feature and the user producing the report is only able to see records belonging to members of their Sales Group, their Sales Group will appear here by default and can't be changed. Please refer to the description of the 'Access' card of the Person register for full details about the Limited Access feature.
- Function
- Use these options to specify the level of detail that you need to be shown in the report.
- Overview
- This option produces a report with a single row for each Delivery, showing Delivery Number and Date, Order Number, Customer Number and Name and cost and sales values of the Delivery.
- Detailed
- In addition to the information shown in the Overview, this option lists the Items on each Delivery with Ordered and Delivered quantities and cost and sales values. The full Delivery Address is also shown as is the Delivery Mode. You can use this report as an archive file instead of printing a copy of each Delivery.
- Status
- Use these options to specify whether Deliveries that have or have not been marked as OK or both are to be included in the report.
- New page for each Customer
- Select this option if you need the report to be printed with page breaks after each Customer. This option will only be used when you print the report to a printer.
- The report will usually be sorted by Delivery Number. Even when not printing to a printer, selecting this option will cause it to be sorted by Customer Number and then Delivery Number.
