Transactions as Rows

This page describes the 'Transaction as Rows' Import function in the Integration module.

---

The 'Transaction as Rows' import function in the Integration module allows you to import Transactions from text files that you created by running the 'Transactions' Export function in the Integration module using the Transactions as Rows option.

Before using the 'Transaction as Rows' function, prepare the target database (i.e. the database into which the Transactions will be imported) as follows:

  • Ensure the Date and Numeric Format in the target database is the same as the format that is used in the text file. If the format is different, Transaction Dates and values after importing may not be correct.

  • Ensure the Fiscal Years setting in the target database is complete. Transactions in the text file that were entered directly to the Transaction register in the source database (i.e. Transactions that will be shown with a fiscal year prefix in the 'Transactions: Browse' window) will not be imported if the relevant Fiscal Years are missing from the target database. Transactions that were created from Sub System records will still be imported.
