Introduction

The installation of a Hansa financial system is technically simple. If you are used to computers and have some experience of installing software, you will find the installation of Hansa very straightforward.

Hansa can be used in many environments: Windows 98/2000/NT/CE, Macintosh OS 9 and OS X, Linux, IBM iSeries (AS/400), pSeries, xSeries and zSeries, and AIX. In this chapter, we describe the system requirements and installation procedures for Windows 98/2000/NT, Macintosh OS 9/OS X and Linux. Please contact your local Hansa representative for details about the other environments.
